3.8.2 Update Software

Withsetupsoftwareversion1.2.5.0andlater,whenyouselectthisoption,thesetup

softwareclosesandDolbySoftwareUpdateautomaticallyopensandconnects.Youcan

thenupdatetheDMA8PlusfirmwarebyfollowingthedirectionsinUpdatingthe

DMA8PlusFirmwareonpage 31.Whentheupdateiscompleted,DolbySoftwareUpdate

closes

andthesetupsoftwareopens andreconnects.

Note: IfyouareconnectingdirectlytoaDMA8Plus,useacrossovercable. Ifyouare

connectingtoaswitch,useastandardEthernetcable.
